The parameter is incorrect: Windows got a value it did not expect. It appears in backups, formatting and updates.

How to fix it

1. When formatting or partitioning: delete and recreate the partition in Disk Management.
2. For Windows Update: reset its components and run the repair commands.
3. Open Command Prompt as administrator (search "cmd", right-click, Run as administrator).
4. Run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and wait for it to finish (it can sit at 20% for a while).
5. Then run: sfc /scannow
6. Restart the PC.
