The Volume Shadow Copy service failed. System Restore and backups depend on it.

How to fix it

1. Open services.msc and set Volume Shadow Copy to Manual, then start it.
2. Run System Restore from Safe Mode or Advanced startup instead.

Is it serious?

Fixable. A real backup tool is safer than System Restore alone.
