Windows could not reach a KMS activation server. This happens on PCs set up for company (volume) activation.

How to fix it

1. Company PCs: connect to the company network or VPN and run slmgr /ato in an administrator Command Prompt.
2. Home PCs: the PC may have a volume key it should not have. Enter your own retail key in Settings > System > Activation > Change product key.
3. Check date, time and time zone.

Is it serious?

Fine on company PCs once on the network. On a home PC it often means the Windows install came from an unofficial "activator".
